We have completely renovated a locally designated historic structure to specifically accommodate our residents' needs. It is quiet, comfortable and fully handicapped accessible, with a large shaded yard.

The twenty-four single rooms share, with one other room, a full bathroom -- two single rooms share one bathroom. We also offer six one-bedroom apartments and four efficiency apartments.

The first floor of our home offers a large congregate dining room (scroll down to see a picture), commercial kitchen (operated by staff), complete residential kitchen accessible to residents twenty-four hours a day, large living room, one sun porch, a chapel, a large outdoor porch, spa and program space.

 

A hair dressing salon and quiet community room is located on the second floor, and a spa on the third.

Additional program, office, laundry, food storage, resident storage and meeting space is sited in the basement. There is a large elevator running from the basement to the third floor.

Confidentiality is always a priority. We do not have a sign outside our home identifying it as Benedict House. All residents, staff and other agents/representatives of Benedict House may not reveal the names, identities or other personal information about the residents living here. This includes information about activities and happenings such as support groups, etc. Written authorization is required from a resident in order to exchange any information about that resident.
