Some activities offered: Garden Club, Movie Night, Shopping, Game night, Outdoor activities, Volleyball & Sporting events. Resident Activities Committee: Resident Activities are directed by the residents. The Resident Activities Committee meets Wednesday afternoons at 4:00pm. Some of the activities the residents have chosen in the past are: Darien Lake Theme Park, Bingo & trips to the Art Gallery. Volunteers: Our volunteers play a large role in resident activities. Volunteers take residents on scheduled shopping trips to the mall or to K-Mart, movies and parks, etc. Volunteers also take the time to talk, play board games/cards, or watch movies on T.V. with residents. Events: Every now and then we receive donations of tickets to community events such as: theatre, concerts, baseball games, etc. for residents. Sign-up sheets are made available to every resident in the House Coordinators Office for these events. |
